Ahli, Zamalek, Ismaili and Ittihad have all been fined after their fans had attended league matches against the Egyptian FA’s rules.
As the FA maintained the regulation of staging all matches behind closed doors, Ahli’s ultras attended 10 minutes of the match against Gouna on Saturday.
In the same manner, Zamalek, Ismaili and Ittihad fans decided to defy the FA and attend their respective team’s games for the whole 90 minutes on Sunday.
Even though FA officials had warned clubs that they will be declared defeated if fans appeared in the stands, the Egyptian football governing body has decided to uphold all results.
Ahli, Zamalek, Ismaili and Ittihad were fined EGP 100,000 each.
Most club fans are also expected to watch their teams from the stands in the final round of the Egyptian Premier League this week.
