Shikabala has returned to Zamalek’s first team training for the first time since ending his loan spell at the UAE.

The Egypt midfielder, who was released by Al-Wasl in January after spending six months on loan, trained with his teammates on Friday under the management of assistant coach Osama Nabih.

Nabih is deputizing for absent head coach Jorvan Vieira, who initially prevented Shikabala from attending training during the season.

Meanwhile, Zamalek captain Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed has recovered from a rib injury he sustained while on international duty with Egypt in Zimbabwe last month.

The veteran goalie is fit to play the final round of the league which will see guaranteed leaders Zamalek host Gaish next week.
