Senegal boss Abdoulaye Sarr insisted that the team will do their best to defeat Guinea in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) quarter-finals match on Friday.

“We are aiming to qualify to the African Cup semi-finals and continue our campaign for the Cup, but it wont be easy given Guinea’s power and speed,” Sarr told reporters on Thursday.

“We wont get any second chances in the match, we have to give the same performance we gave in front of Nigeria, otherwise we will concede two goals in the last 10 minutes because of slackiness,” he added.

The Senegalese caretaker also indicated that he studied the Guinean team thoroughly and that he will maintain a balance between the defence and the attacking-line and will try to go for an early goal to settle the highly-anticipated match for their side.
