Zamalek signed Enppi defender Osama Hassan on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee, the Cairo club said on Saturday.

A club source, who didn't want to be named, told FilGoal.com that Hassan will receive EGP 400,000 in the first season, increasing annually with EGP 50,000.

Zamalek are set to officially unveil Hassan in a press conference later on Saturday.

The 27-year-old Hassan, who play in left-back and midfield roles, joined Enppi from Ahli's youth ranks in 2000.

Hassan led Enppi to the Egyptian Cup title in 2005 and helped the team reach the Arab Champions League (ACL) finals last season.

Meanwhile, Portuguese coach Manuel Cajuda has signed a new one-year contract with Cairo giants Zamalek that will see him earn EGP 25,000 as a monthly salary.

Cajuda's previous deal expired after the end of the season but he opted to prolong his stay with the same salary he earned during the past year with Zamalek.

But Cajuda will have to pay the taxes that represent 20% of his salary, according to his agreement with Zamalek board of directors.

The Portuguese steered Zamalek to the second place in the Egyptian League as well as finishing runners-up in the local cup.
