Brazil won their second friendly international of the week after edging Ghana 1-0 in Stockholm on Tuesday, courtesy of a first half strike from Vagner Love.

The goal came after 17 minutes when Love tapped in from close range following a near post header from Kaka,

It was the second international goal for the CSKA Moscow striker made it with the Selecao.

The former world champions had their goalkeeper Julio Cesar to thank for most of the game after the Inter Milan custodian produced a host of fine saves to deny the Ghanaians throughout the match.

The Black Stars surprisingly gave Carlos Dunga's team a tough contest as they created more danger despite missing influential midfield duo Stephen Appiah and Michael Essien.

Ghana were reduced to ten men in the 77th minute when Haminu Dramani was sent off for a second bookable offense.

Brazil knocked Ghana out of the last 16 round of the 2006 World Cup in Germany after the Africans qualified for the tournament for their first time ever.
