The unsettled Riad, who is usually pleading for first team football, claimed that he received more than one offer, but he prefers the ENPPI option.

"I received offers from Ismaili and ENPPI, but I prefer the latter for several reasons," Riad told FilGoal.com exclusively.

The Ahli playmaker believes that he has a greater chance of playing regular football at ENPPI, who are managed by former Ahli stars Anwar Salama and Hani Ramzy.

"I have a good relationship with the ENPPI technical staff and I think I could play more first team football than at Ismaili, I believe I could achieve more at ENPPI," he added.

Riad struggled to keep a place in Manuel Jose's roster at Ahli, as the 25-year-old had a short spell at Austria's Grazer AK, before returning to the Egyptian champions, following GAK's relegation last season.
