Zamalek striker Amr Zaki insisted that he was forced to miss the team's recent training sessions, serving the one-month suspension imposed by the club against him.

The Whites' football director Ayman Mansour decided three weeks ago that Zaki will be banned from training for a month after his public criticism to his teammates.

However, Mansour announced that Zaki's ban has been cut and that he is allowed to resume training, but the Egypt striker claims he knows nothing about it.

"I missed training because I am serving a one-month suspension, no one informed me that I am allowed to return," Zaki told FilGoal.com on Monday.

"I am ready to return to the team at any time, but Mansour has not spoken to me yet."

Zaki blasted his teammates after the disappointing 1-1 home draw with bottom club Suez Cement three weeks ago, after which he threatened to quit football if the club refused to sell him.

The former Lokomotiv Moscow forward apologized to the club's officials and fans last week after another episode of his endless outspoken comments since joining last year.
