Guinea registered a 3-0 away victory over Angola in a warm-up friendly ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana next January.

Bobo Balde, Victor Correa and Karamoco Cisse scored for the visitors to conclude the victory against an Angola side which included Ahli duo Flavio Amado and Gilberto.

In Zurich, Nigeria beat next year's Euro 2008 co-hosts Switzerland 1-0, thanks to a 79th minute striker from Marseille full-back Ismaila Taye-Taiwo.

Nigeria's group rivals Mali suffered a thrilling 3-2 defeat at Algeria, who will not feature in the Ghana finals.

Fulham striker Hameur Bouazza opened the scoring for the Arab nations five minutes from the break, but his goal was cancelled out by Dramane Traore two minutes later.

Former Ismaili striker Traore got his second of the game four minutes into the second half, but Algeria's Kamel Ghilas leveled the scoring on 73 minutes, before Nader Belhadj won the game for the home side one minute from normal time.

Finally, Teko Modise scored twice to hand South Africa a 2-0 win over Canada at Durban’s Absa Stadium.
