Cameroon manager Otto Pfister said the organization of the African Cup of Nations only fits a tournament for children following tension with Ghanaian police.

The 70-year-old German was involved in a row with Police officers, who refused to let him into the Ohene Djan Stadium on Wednesday through a specific gate.

He wanted to take the pitch directly through the stands but security officials refused, according to a report by MTN football.

Pfister, a former Ghana coach in the 90s, was allowed in after one Cameroonian official used force to unlock the gate.

Later on the pitch, Pfister expressed his anger as he spoke with reporters covering the main training session before the semi-finals clash with Ghana.

"This is a total disaster. I don't know if this is the Nations Cup or a tournament for children," he said.

Pfister has earlier castigated the organizing committee over poor accommodation and lack of training facilities.
