Even though Sporting are reluctant to sell the highly-rated midfielder at the moment, Braida is hopeful he can join the Milan forces in the future.

"Veloso is a great player, I believe that he will sign for us in the future," Braida told Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

"I am not too sure if in the short term we will see Miguel Veloso at Milan, but in the future yes."

Veloso, 22, is currently with Portugal for the EURO 2008 finals, and he could be given the opportunity on Sunday's game with Switzerland.
