"It is marvellous that Felipao (Scolari) is interested in signing me because he is an excellent coach. I have a lot of respect for him because I have known him since I was very young and he was coach of Gremio," the Brazilian ace told Brazilian TV show Globo programme.

"If the chance came up to work with him again then it would be very good. We have a history together in the game, we won the World Cup, and that is something I will never forget," added Ronaldinho.

The 27-year old gifted playmaker emerged in the Selecao's successful World Cup 2002 campaign and then had four marvelous seasons.

He failed to live up to the usual expectations and had two miserable seasons plagued by injuries.

Manager Josep Guardiola has already announced that Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Deco aren't included in his plans.

Deco signed for Chelsea and Ronaldinho may join him very soon.
