The Egypt international signed a three-year contract with Zamalek earlier this month, to put an end to controversy after declaring he wants to play for Ahli.

But Saied told Egyptian TV on Sunday night that a separate buy-out clause that was supposed to be attached to the contract was illegal.

"I agreed to sign for Zamalek when they promised me that there will be a minimum fee release clause in my contract," he said.

"Zamalek officials then told me that the clause can only be added in a separate document, which was sent to the Egyptian FA for approval.

"But I was shocked to learn that the document was not official and that the FA cannot approve it.

"Now I cannot give my best in a place where I don't feel happy and comfortable."

Saied played in both of Zamalek's recent defeats to Ahli, but the 28-year-old's future with the club remains unclear.
