Veteran goalkeeper Gharib Hafez has penned a four-year contract extension with Gaish.
The 34-year-old's current deal was due to expire at the end of the season but he is now most likely to end his career at the military side.
"I did not set any financial conditions to prolong my stay. I just want to remain a Gaish player," Hafez told FilGoal.com on Thursday.
Gaish coach Farouk Gaafar prefers to rotate his guardians, Hafez and Wael Khalifa.
The club currently lie eighth in the Egyptian Premier League on 29 points. They leaked 36 goals so far this season.
