Argentina forward Carlos Tevez is set to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old is particularly unhappy that United have yet to offer him an extension to his contract, which expires this summer.

"I don't think I will be a Manchester United player next season," Tevez told the News of the World.

"I do not feel wanted. I feel bad over my situation. I do, but it's very, very difficult to stay any longer. I guess what I'm saying is goodbye."

Tevez's first-team chances were hampered by the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov last year, in addition to the presence of England striker Wayne Rooney.

Disrespect

The former West Ham ace, who scored 13 goals for the European champions so far this term, believes he isn’t getting a fair treatment at Old Trafford.

"I have done everything I possibly can but they have never made me an offer or given me a contract so I have to leave," he added.

"I don't think I deserve to be in this position but you realise if your time is up you have to go.

"The fans treat me like family, but United have not signed me so they do not respect me as a footballer."

Tevez is on a loan contract with United as his registration is owned by MSI Company.
