Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback is optimistic about his team's chances to make the World Cup knockouts, even though they have yet to register a single point.

The Super Eagles have to win against South Korea, while hoping Argentina beat Greece in the Group B finale this week.

"I’ve never experienced that before, that you have two losses and yet still have a chance to go through," Lagerback told FIFA's official site.

"So now we are really looking forward to the game and we can really show how good the Super Eagles are, and I think we can play a really good game against the South Koreans.

"I think that they could be a good style for us to play against, so I’m positive about it, and I think that it could be an interesting game anyway, and hopefully an open and attacking game from both teams."

Nigeria were in a similar situation in their most previous World Cup appearance in 2002, following two defeats by Argentina and Sweden, who were curiously managed by Lagerback.
