Ahli, who have been sponsored by the German company since last season, made a few alterations to their current shirt, including a golden color for the Adidas stripe trademark.

The Reds have also changed the color of their away shirt to dark blue for the first time.

"We are very happy to be dealing with one of the biggest clubs in Africa and the Middle East," an Adidas spokesman said at the press conference.

"I think Adidas can benefit from Ahli's extraordinary reputation by selling the team shirt in other Arab countries."
