South Africa coach Pitso Mosimane says that the weekend’s friendly in Tanzania is the perfect preparation for his side ahead of next month’s CAN 2012 qualifier with Egypt.

Group 7 leaders Bafana could secure qualification if they repeated their victory over the African champions, who have no option but to win in order to avoid an embarrassing exit.

Despite missing a number of players for the non-FIFA sanctioned fixture, Mosimane is looking for momentum when his side play the African minnows on Saturday.

“This is the perfect match to give us the momentum before facing Egypt away,” said the Bafana coach upon naming his squad.

“We would have loved to face a North African opposition but since this is not a FIFA date it has proved difficult, so we are happy with what we have.

“Playing away will help us a lot and give us the same stress and pressure of playing in Cairo because we know that the National Stadium of Tanzania will be full with spectators. So this is a good exercise.”

South Africa will face Tanzania without their Europe-based stars, excluding Panseraikos striker Bernard Parker who will be there to boost Mosimane’s side in Dar es Salaam.
