The 20-year-old is expected to leave ENPPI for Europe this summer after impressing many clubs in the African Youth Championship in March.

Refaat had two trials at Basel and Sevilla as it seems that the former, who include Egypt duo Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Elneny, are still monitoring him.

“I think Basel are still interested. Their scouts are still watching me during games and in training as well,” Refaat told Alkaherwalnas TV.

“There are other offers but right now I am just focusing on the World Cup.”

Refaat is currently with the Egypt squad preparing for the U-20 World Cup in Turkey later this month.
