Hossam Ghaly is negotiating with Lierse over a possible summer transfer, Ahli have confirmed.
Ghaly, who is currently a free agent, has been seriously considering ending his spell with Ahli as the Egyptian-owned Lierse approached him a few days ago.
Ahli’s website confirmed that the 31-year-old is away negotiating a deal with the Belgian side.
Meanwhile, three Egyptians have left Lierse, most notably striker Mohamed Al-Gabbas, who has been at the Herman Vanderpoortenstadion since 2009.
The Egypt international is currently looking for a new club as he said he wants a new challenge.
Former Ahli duo Ahmed Abou-Mosallam and Mostafa Shebeita also followed Al-Gabbas out of Lierse, having spent the past season on loan from Smouha and Wadi Degla.
