Luzern snatched a 1-1 Swiss league draw with Basel as Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Elneny and Mahmoud 'Kahraba' all took part in the game.

Visitors Basel might have thought they won the game already until a 93rd minute strike from Dimitar Rangelov cancelled out Giovanni Sio's 31st minute opener.

Mohamed Salah was the only Egyptian in both team's starting line-up as Elneny came off the bench on the hour mark, replacing Matias Delgado.

Newly-signed teenager Kahraba made his debut for Luzern when he was introduced instead of Michel Renggli with 18 minutes remaining.

The ENPPI loanee managed to make an instant impact though, forcing a double save from Basel keeper Yann Sommer with a strike from inside the area three minutes after his introduction.

Basel star man Salah, however, did not shine in the game and was substituted by Marcelo Diaz in the 82nd minute.

Basel host Bulgaria’s Ludogorets in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round on Tuesday, as Luzern visit St. Gallen in the league next weekend.

Reigning champions Basel remain fourth on nine points as Luzern are still second with 11.
