Veteran keeper Essam Al-Hadari is holding talks with newly-promoted side Canal over a potential winter switch, the club's manager Ahmed Saied said.
Former Egypt first-choice keeper Al-Hadari, who announced his international retirement earlier this year, is currently plying his trade at Sudanese giants Merriekh.
"We are holding talks with Al-Hadari and he initially agreed to join the club," Saied told FilGoal.com.
Despite helping Egypt and Ahli rejoice in a blaze of glory during the past decade, veteran goalie Al-Hadari has a long history of disputes with his former clubs and the national team.
