An unlikely source of goals, former Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim Salah headed a crucial leveler for newly-promoted side Orouba to hold third-placed Al-Shabab to a 1-1 Saudi league draw.
Salah almost scores
After playing a full match in the 2-0 Champions League defeat at Schalke, Mohamed Salah was introduced nine minutes after the interval in the 1-1 Swiss league draw with Luzern as the Egypt ace came close thrice to grabbing the winner.
Conversely, Mohamed Elneny was replaced on the hour mark in the Schalke loss as he featured for the whole game against Luzern and squandered a chance before immediately conceding a goal.

A third Egyptian to join on the pitch in that match was Mahmoud 'Kahraba' who came off the bench with 15 minutes remaining but failed to make a notable impact though.
Egypt wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady played a fine English Premier League game with Hull City in the scoreless home draw with rivals Stoke City.

Geddo missed out on Hull City's second league game running, having been ruled out of the Stoke stalemate once again.
In the Championship, defender Adam El-Abd made Brighton's starting line-up for the first time this season, playing the whole match in the 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough after managing no more than 18 minutes in a handful of previous appearances.
Egypt striker Ahmed Hassan 'Koka' was wheeled on just three minutes from time against giants Porto, but there was nothing to do after Rio Ave had already conceded three goals to slump to a 3-1 home Liga Sagres defeat.
In Belgium, Hossam Ghaly retained his status as a starter for Lierse, playing full 90 minutes in the 3-0 league drubbing at fourth-placed Zulte-Waregem as Ahmed Samir Farag featured for the whole game as well.
However, there was no place for young forward Ahmed Yasser, who was omitted from the squad.
