The Egypt striker played the whole game and was unlucky to see the third goal deflected off his boot following a freekick by Porto's Danilo.

The goal was, however, claimed by Porto's Brazilian defender.

Rio Ave slip to 11th place in the Liga table but even so remain seven points clear of the bottom three, two weeks from the end.
