The 31-year-old has been out of action since pulling a hamstring in the opening league match against Military Production back in December.

He was expected to make his comeback this week, only for Ahli doctor Ihab Ali to confirm that he will miss the next couple of games as well.

"Meteb will not be available for the Dakhlia league match this week and also he will not travel to face Ahli Benghazi later this month," Ali told reporters.

Champions League holders Ahli will visit Benghazi in Tunisia in the competition's round of 16 next week before hosting the Libyans by the end of the March.
