Egypt registered a 2-0 friendly victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in Innsbruck, Austria.

Second-half goals from Geddo and Mohamed Salah secured the victory, with each of the strike partners setting up the other.

The win over World-Cup-finalists Bosnia provides a major boost for new coach Shawki Gharib, who made his debut on Egypt's bench.

Gharib, who took over from Bob Bradley lasy year, handed a couple of players their first international appearance.

Nacional defender Ali Ghazal started in a three-man backline including Ahli's Rami Rabiea and Wadi Degla's Ahmed Saied 'Ouka'.

Regular midfielders Mohamed Elneny and Hossam Ghaly played at the center, with Ahmed Elmohamady and Ahmed Fathi filling in the right and left flanks respectively.

In attack, Police Union's Khaled Kamar was another player who made his bow, playing alongside Salah and Geddo.

In the second half, veteran keeper Essam Al-Hadari replaced Sherif Ekrami in goal while Smouha pair Tarek Hamed and Ibrahim Abdul-Khalek were wheeled on for Premie League duo Elmohamady and Salah.
