Egypt have recalled six foreign-based players for the friendly meeting with Bosnia on March 5, the FA said.

The sextet, all based in Europe, are led by Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah and Hull City's Ahmed Elmohamady.

Elmohamay returns to the national team's fold after being left out of the last match against Ghana.

Mohamed Elneny (Basel) and Hossam Ghaly (Lierse) retained their places, while Saleh Gomaa of Nacional earned a call-up.

The sixth member called up by Egypt new manager Shawki Gharib is Gomaa's club mate Ali Ghazal, who has yet to make his international debut.

There was no place for unsettled striker Amr Zaki, who is on the verge of being offloaded by new club Raja Casablanca despite not playing a single game.

The Egypt management is expected to announce the rest of the squad within the next few days.
