Ahli claimed a 1-0 league victory over Ghazl Mahalla in a match that saw three players sent off.

The only goal of the game was scored from the spot by Abdullah Al-Saied on 67 minutes.

Ahli saw skipper Wael Gomaa, who has just returned from suspension following his sending off at Arab Contractors, receive another straight red for a professional foul.

Mahalla striker Mando followed Gomaa to the dugout on the half hour after receiving two bookings.

The visitors had to end the game with nine men when midfielder Mahmoud Bazid was the third to receive his marching orders with a second yellow.
