Liverpool, Chelsea vie for Salah

The 21-year-old Salah has been strongly linked with Liverpool during the past few weeks, only for Chelsea to enter the race recently.

It is, however, believed that Liverpool are closer to land the Basel winger, with reports suggesting a transfer fee of £11M.

Salah caught the eyes of top Premier League clubs after excelling against Chelsea in the Champions League this season.

The livewire winger has arguably been Basel's top player in an impressive Europa League campaign for the Swiss side last season as well.
