Ahli have confirmed that striker Geddo will be back with the team in January, following an unsuccessful loan spell at Hull City.

After returning from a long-term injury, Geddo spent the past six months at the KC Stadium only to feature for no more than 32 minutes in the league.

The Egypt striker was reportedly unhappy as Ahli have finally decided to recall him from his season-long loan.

"Geddo's return is very important for us because we have seen some players injured and others retiring in recent months," Ahli boss Mohamed Youssef told the club's website.

Meanwhile, Youssef has decided to drop striker Dominique da Silva from the team Champions League roster due to the Mauritanian's 'lack of concentration'.

Dominique, who is one of two foreign players in Ahli's roster, has been struggling to regain his place as a first-team regular for several months.
