Enppi striker Amr Zaki said Mouloudia Alger played a good game despite they lost at home against his side in the ACL.

"Enppi played a distinguished game and managed to grab an important victory but Mouloudia are still big Arab and African team," Zaki told ART Sports network after Monday's game.

The 23-year-old international said his side squandered several scoring opportunities that could have widened the margin.

"We have found the net three times and failed to deliver another three chances. We played with high spirits after snatching the second spot in the local league," he added.

The Egyptian last season's runners-up stormed back from a one-goal deficit to down Mouloudia 3-1 in the first leg of the quarter-finals, with Zaki scoring the second goal.

The precious victory put Enppi on the brink of securing a spot in the semis when they host Mouloudia in February.
