A press conference was held on Monday to reveal the details of the LG friendly tournament that will be held in Cairo from December 27th until the 29th.

The representatives of the participating teams Senegal and Uganda along with hosts Egypt attended the conference with the LG delegate.

The Senegal Football Federation vice-president said that his side arrived in Egypt with a second-tier team because their Europe-based players were club-tied.

On the other hand, Uganda’s Egyptian coach Alaa Morsi expressed his happiness to face Egypt, stating that the encounter will be a real test for his players.

Meanwhile, Egypt coach Hassan Shehata expressed thanks to the sponsors and the Egyptian FA for organizing the tournament.

The tournament is held in preparation for the African Cup of Nations which will take place in Egypt from January 20th until the 10th of February.
