Real Madrid newly-signed defender Cicinho won't take part in the King's Cup encounter on Wednesday because paperwork hasn't been finished yet, the Spanish side announced.

The Primera Liga club said on their official website that they haven't received yet Cicinho's transfer documents from the Brazilian Football Federation due to Christmas vacations.

Cicinho has joined Real Madrid in the winter transfer window for $4.76 millions. Real hope the international right-back could reinforce the club's back line after they conceded 19 goals in 17 matches.

The capital-based club traveled to Bilbao to take on Athletic Bilbao in the first-leg of the round of 16.
