Mido asked Egypt coach Hassan Shehata to allow him move back to England after Egypt's friendly game against Nigeria, which was due to take place on Monday, was cancelled.

The 22-year-old striker informed Tottenham that he will arrive at London on Sunday morning to participate against Leicester City in FA Cup third round.

Mido is set to stay in England until playing with Spurs in their Premiership clash against Liverpool on January 14th.
