ريكارد غاضب من أداء لاعبيه

Barcelona head coach Frank Rijkaard played down rumours hinting a possible move to Italian club AC Milan to succeed Carlo Ancelotti as new team boss.

"While working in a great club like Barcelona, you will never think of any possibiliry of moving to any other club,” Rijkaard was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca on Saturday.

Different media had linked Rijkaard, who recently renewed his contract until 2009, to a move to a falling Milan, under Ancelotti’s rule.

The Dutch tactician also insisted that he was happy at Barcelona and said: “I have a contract with Barcelona, and as long as both parties are content, there will be no problems.

"It is a question of respect to the people who have believed in you. I am not going to speak with anybody," he added.

The former Milan star, in the 1990’s, lead Barcelona to clinch last season’s Spanish league title for the first time in six years as well as leading this year’s La Liga standings with a tally of 46 points, seven points ahead of second-place Osasuna.
