English giants Manchester United will face Premiership rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup round of 16 in February, the English Football Association (FA) announced on their official website on Monday.

Last year FA Cup's runners-up Manchester United have recently defeated Liverpool 1-0 in a Premiership clash, thanks to a last-gasp strike by defender Rio Ferdinand.

League Two side Colchester United will play either Chelsea or Everton while Aston Villa will take on Manchester City.

Bolton Wanderers, who knocked out title holders Arsenal, will entertain West Ham in another all-Premiership encounter.

Newcastle will host Southampton while another non-topflight team, Bentford, face Charlton.

Meanwhile, Birmingham were drawn to play the winners of Reading and Stoke City clash while Preston or Crystal Palace will face Coventry or Middlesbrough.

The matches are set to take place on the 18th and 19th of February.
