Juventus manager Fabio Capello said he was satisfied with the 1-1 home draw with Parma in the Serie A on Wednesday, describing it as a "fair result", the Italian champions' official website reported.

"We tried to win until the very last minute but we could not find the winning goal, partly because of some bad luck and also because of the rival goalkeeper’s ability. However, Parma too had their good chances, so a draw can do," Capello said after the match.

"We knew they would not be easy to face and we were right. We were unlucky with Del Piero hitting the post twice, first on a free kick then in playing the penalty kick

"But they too went close to scoring the second goal, therefore the draw is a fair result," he added.

The Bianconeri were held to a 1-1 draw with Parma at Delle Alpi Stadium on Wednesday, Daniele Dessena gave Parma the lead in the 39th minute before Zlatan Ibrahimovic put Juventus at level only five minutes later.

Juve top the Serie A table with 63 points, nine points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan who lost to Fiorentina 2-1.

The former Roma manager commented on Inter's defeat to Fiorentina before they meet them on Sunday.

"It’s undoubtedly a good advantage that will allow us to meet the Nerazzurri in the best way," he said.
