The Egyptian team players, coaching, administrative and medical staffs were all presented with a custom-made FilGoal scarf commemorating their unprecedented achievement.

The scarf colors were adopted from the Egyptian flag and had the phrase "Egypt, African Champions 2006" in addition to five stars signifying the number of titles.

The scarf also featured the FilGoal.com logo.

The presentation took place during the ceremony held by Ahli club to celebrate the national team's continental title.

Players like Hossam Hassan, Essam Al-Hadari and a number of Europe-based players and staff were not available in the celebration to receive their presents.

Egypt co-captain Ahmed Hassan, who was named player of the tournament, was presented with his scarf during a visit to FilGoal.com's head-quarters last week.
