Internazionale owner Massimo Moratti discarded rumors that linked Arsenal skipper Thierry Henry to a move to the Italian club this summer and said that such a transfer was merely a ‘speculation’.

Moratti, however, was full of praise for the French international, who is also believed to be a target for Barcelona.

"For the time being it's only speculation," Moratti was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

"Of course, I like Henry, I don't think anyone would respond differently to this question."

Inter president Giacinto Facchetti also postponed talk about Ronaldo’s return to the club as he emphasized the importance of the remaining few weeks of the season and discarded statements about any possible transfers.

"At this important moment of the season, I only want to talk about players that are already at Inter and hope they all produce their best form," said Facchetti.

"I don't want to talk about those that are not here or those that wanted to leave the club… It's clear that when you talk about Ronaldo, anything could be said.”

"But right now the most important thing is that we concentrate on the two months of the season we have left and on the players we already have," he added.

The Real Madrid striker has recently announced his discomfort in Madrid and has been linked with moves to several clubs in England as well as Italy.
