Egyptian international midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou returned to action with French club Strasbourg after being sidelined for more than two months due to injury.
But his return didn't help struggling Strasbourg to escape a 2-1 home defeat against Le Mans on Monday.
Former Ahli left-back Ahmed Abou-Mosallam also played the whole 90 minutes alongside Egyptian compatriot.
Amara Diane scored for Strasbourg in the 18th minute but Le Mans equalized through Ismael Bangoura before Libano Grafite sank the hosts in the stoppage time.
Strasbourg remained third from bottom on 23 points, five points adrift of Tryoes who hold on the last spot that secures a top-flight appearance next season.
