The Egyptian Football Association 'EFA' announced that the national team will face Spain in a friendly game on the third of June ahead of the World Cup finals in Germany.

"Spanish counterparts and the sponsor company have accepted our demands to play the match after negotiations led by EFA president Samir Zaher," EFA spokesman Medhat Shalabi told reporters on Wednesday.

Egypt requested to have six billboards onto the pitch as well as television broadcasting rights.

No financial details were revealed but the EFA said after Egypt's African Cup of Nations triumph they won't accept less than 150,000 Euros for a friendly.

The EFA had previously turned down an offer to play Spain on June 2nd because the date conflicted with the Egypt Cup schedule which caused the Royal Spanish Football Federation 'RFEF' to consider the Moroccan national team.

Earlier on Wednesday, RFEF press official Paloma Antoranz Espinar told Filgoal.com's correspondent Khaled Youssef in Madrid that negotiations resumed with the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) after the later reconsidered holding the international match.

Spain were drawn in Group H of the World Cup along with Tunisia, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.
