The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) will hold a press conference on Thursday to announce the details of the international friendly between Egypt and Spain scheduled for June 3rd.

Egypt coach Hassan Shehata, who will attend Thursday's conference at the EFA headquarters said he is preparing a preparation program ahead of Spain's friendly.

"I put in a request to hold a training camp on April 22nd and 23rd in order to prepare for Spain's match," Shehata told FilGoal.com exclusively on Wednesday.

"We will also hold another camp in the last week of May as a final rehearsal for this strong clash," he added.

The friendly match was nearly jeopardized after the EFA said it with contradict with its second biggest competition, the Egypt Cup.

However, an agreement was reached between the EFA and its Spanish counterpart leading to an agreement that the game will be played on June 3rd in Madrid.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) pushed for the game to be held as their national team will face two Arab teams in the World Cup this summer.

Spain were drawn in Group H of the World Cup along side Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.

Egypt is expected to field a second string team against Spain as Europe-based players will be on vacation while Ahli, Ittihad and Harras Al-Hodoud players will be on duty with their clubs in African competitions.
