Al-Shabab board decided to sack Tunisian head coach Ahmed Al-Aglani after suffering a 3-0 defeat from Kuwaiti club Al-Arabi in the Asian Champions League preliminaries.

Al-Shabab sacked Al-Aglani given the team’s poor results during his time as head coach and the players’ complaining about his style of coaching, Saudi daily Al-Riyadh reported on Friday.

Al-Shabab topped the Saudi league preliminary round standings and qualified automatically to the semi-finals where they will next fact either Hilal or Ittihad Jeddah.

National coach Abdullatif Hosni was appointed as a temporary solution to fill in Al=Aglani’s shoes as Nassr coach.
