Shawki and Reyad have both been rested for Ahli's trip to Equatorial Guinea where they will face Renacimiento in the first-leg of the African competition's round of 16 on Sunday.

"X-rays showed that Cheetos will be out for a month due to a thigh injury while Shawki will be sidelined for 10 days, also through the same injury," Ahli's Dr. Ehab Ali told FilGoal.com on Tuesday night.

Both players were injured in Ahli's 3-0 win over Asyut Cement in the Egyptian league on Monday.

Ahli coach Manuel Jose chose 19 players for the Guinea trip after Tuesday's training.
