“I could stay at Arsenal or leave, anything can happen,” Pires told Sky Italia on Tuesday.

“But my future could be in Italy too. There has been contact with Roma and also Fiorentina,” he added.

Pires, whose side just reached the UEFA Champions League finals, was reportedly also contacted by Spanish clubs, given his failure to sign a new extension deal with the Premiership club until now.

Both Roma and Fiorentina are expected to fight over the talented French winger to reinforce their chances of landing the last remaining qualifying ticket for next season’s Champions League.
