مباراة برشلونة وميلان شهدت الكثير من الإثارة

Barcelona reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time in 12 years after holding guests AC Milan to a goalless draw on Wednesday.

The Catalan side advanced on a 1-0 aggregate victory after Ludovic Giuly's strike earned them a precious victory last week at the San Siro.

Barca will play Arsenal, who ousted Villarreal on the same score line, in Paris on May 17th.

Barcelona's 100th appearance in the Champions League was a bad memory for the Italian side who suffered their first exit ever from the tournament's semis.

Milan were the first to attack through Brazilian midfielder Kaka who raced down the right before curling a low shot just wide.

The home side replied quickly when Samuel Eto'o outpaced Milan's veteran defender Alessandro Costacurta but his shot was blocked by Milan's advancing goalkeeper Dida.

Eto'o came close again shortly after when he found himself facing Dida inside the area but the Brazilian keeper tipped the ball before Costacurta cleared it into a corner-kick.

Andriy Shevchenko was denied an aggregate equalizer after the break when he towered over Carles Puyol to head home but the referee disallowed the goal, awarding the Spanish defender a free-kick.

Substitute Henrik Larsson almost opened the score line when he headed an Eto'o cross but Dida had no problem.
