العميد يتألق ويعود لهز الشباك

Egypt and Masri striker Hossam Hassan has been banned for two games after being sent-off against Suez Cement in the Egyptian League, the Egyptian FA said on Wednesday.

Hassan was also fined EGP 2,000 by the FA's emergency committee that often considers riots incidents.

The 40-year-old forward was cautioned by referee Essam Abdul-Fattah, the only Arab referee to travel to the World Cup, but he protested the decision to receive the second booking and his marching orders.

The emergency committee fined both clubs EGP 2,000 after they exchanged missiles during and after the game on Sunday.

Despite an unimpressive campaign that saw Hassan scoring only five goals, he is Masri's top-scorer so far.

Masri are eighth on 25 points, just one point ahead of the relegation zone.
