The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) are scheduled to discuss selling the league's broadcasting rights to satellite channels in their meeting with Ahli, Zamalek, Ittihad Alexandria, Masri and other club representatives that will take place on Tuesday.

EFA have already received two offers from Dream and Orbit networks to buy the rights for the Egyptian league, and are expecting two other offers from Qatari channels Al-Jazeera and Al-Kass within the coming few days, EFA spokesman Medhat Shalabi revealed on Monday.

Both Dream and Orbit have made offers worth 2.5-million EGP, but Shalabi insisted that the broadcasting rights won’t be exclusive, which means that they could sell it to a number of networks and channels at the same time.

The Egyptian terrestrial channels will broadcast the entire Egyptian league, even in the case of selling the broadcasting rights to Egyptian or regional private networks.
