"Zamalek should have paid 500,000 Euros to Lokomotiv, 15 days after I signed the contract, but they did not and that's way the Russian side sent a complaint to FIFA," Zaki told FilGoal.com on Sunday.

"If Zamalek did not pay, the deal will collapse. I will have no other choice but to return and fulfill my contract with Lokomotiv."

Lokomotiv officials told the Egyptian international striker not to attend Zamalek's training unless they pay the fee.

Former Zamalek treasurer Mamdouh Abaas, who is currently in Germany to attend the World Cup final, assured Zaki that he will resolve the problem once he returns to Egypt, as he promised before to pay the full fee of the deal.

The former Enppi striker revealed receiving several offers from Arab gulf countries, but he favors a return to Russia in case his deal with Zamalek collapses.

Zamalek officially announced the signing of Zaki late in June on a four-year contract for 1.4 million euros.

The 23-year-old Joined Lokomotiv after helping Egypt win their record-fifth African Cup of Nations that was held in Cairo last January.
