The defeat is the sixth for the Egyptians debutants in the World League, their second from Korea who came from behind on Saturday to win 3-1.

The Koreans won 25-23, 25-22 and 25-18 to wrap up the game in 85 minutes.

The result moved Korea into third place in Group D behind Cuba and Bulgaria, while Egypt remain rooted at the bottom of the group with no points.

Egypt's next host is Cuba on August 4th and 6th while Korea travel to Varna to play Bulgaria on August 5th and 6th.
