Moratti spend over $ 55 million bringing in Juventus duo of Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hernan Crespo from Chelsea and World Cup winner Fabio Grosso from Palermo to enhance Inter chances of winning their first League title in 17 years.

"Inter are a club who look ahead, but we also have to keep an eye on our budget," Moratti told the Corriere dello Sport on Monday.

"We still have not started the sale transfer phase, but we know it will have to start sooner or later. We certainly can’t just buy players."

Italian reports suggest that after the big money spending, Inter could be even willing to sell Brazilian striker Adriano as Manchester United earlier expressed their desire to lure the 24-year-old.

However it's Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins who looks set to make a move away from the Giuseppe Meazza with a bunch of Premiership clubs asking for his services including Liverpool, Tottenham and Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, Moratti denied that Inter have made any offer trying to tempt Italy keeper Gianluigi Buffon with a move away from the relegated Juventus.

"We'll not force anyone's hands, our relation with Juventus is very good and I have no intention of creating any problems," Moratti considered.
